To connect Spotify with an Antipodes Music Server, you can use **Spotify Connect**, **Squeezelite (LMS/Lyrion)**, or a **UPnP integration** depending on your model and AMS version.

### Using Spotify Connect
Most Antipodes models (including **K50**, **K22**, **K41**, and **Oladra**) support **Spotify Connect** natively through their **Player app options** in the **AMS Dashboard**.
1. Open the **Solution Dashboard** via the web interface or the *My Antipodes* mobile app.
2. Under **Player Apps**, select **Spotify Connect**.
3. Save and apply settings — your Antipodes will now appear as a Spotify Connect device on the **Spotify app** (desktop or mobile).
4. Simply play music from Spotify and select your Antipodes as the output device from the available devices list.[1][2]

### Using Squeezelite (Lyrion Media Server)
If you prefer or are running an older server (e.g., **CX**, **EX**, or **DX**), Spotify access works via **Squeezelite with the Spotify plugin**.
1. Enable the **Squeeze Server (LMS/Lyrion)** in the Antipodes Server settings.
2. Open the LMS web interface (accessible through the Dashboard).
3. Install the **Spotify or Spotty plugin** via *Settings → Plugins*.
4. Link your Spotify account and control playback via LMS, iPeng, or OrangeSqueeze apps.[3][1]

### Using the Spotify App on PC or Mac
The **Spotify desktop app** can stream directly to your Antipodes once **Spotify Connect** is active.
If unable to discover the Antipodes in your app:
- Verify that both your server and computer are on the same local network.
- Ensure no VPN or network isolation is active.
- Confirm that **Spotify Connect** is selected as the playback app in the Antipodes Dashboard.[4]

After firmware updates, Antipodes devices sometimes revert the default player app to Spotify Connect. This can cause Roon or HQPlayer users to think they’ve lost settings — simply reselect the preferred app afterward.[5]
