אשר מרחיבה את תחום פעילותה לנושא אביזרי החשמל.
המוצר הראשון הוא השקע האולטימטיבי, כמיטב מסורת Stealth כולל מגעים עשויים מכסף מלא Solid Silver,
לשיפור מהותי והפחתת רעש אפשרי בביצועי המערכת, מגובה במדידות.
כפי שרואים בטבלת המדידות למטה, הביצועים האופטימליים מתקבלים עם כבלי החשמל של Stealth,
אך ביצועים משופרים מהותית מתקבלים גם בכבלי חשמל אחרים.
השקע מגיע עם פאנל מתכת איכותי, ובקרוב גם באפשרות Carbon fiber.

THEORY and MEASUREMENTS
Hum and noise in an audio system depend on several factors, and while not the only one, the main of them is the quality (bandwidth and impedance) of the ground path – which includes wires and contact resistances.
In a quality AC cord, the ground wire resistance (impedance) is, roughly, 0.001 -0.003 Ohms (1 to 3 milliOhms)
6 AWG copper 0.00130 Ohms – i.e. 1.3 mOhms (for a 1 meter cord)
10 AWG copper: 0.00328 – i.e. 3.28 mOms (for a 1 meter cord)
The contact resistance of the plug-wall socket and IEC receptacle-IEC male considerably adds to the overall ground path resistance:
If a cord has 6 AWG ground path, the overall ground path resistance with standard plugs and sockets would be (from the table below): 1.3 + 3.28 + 1.45 = 6.03 mOhms
The same cord, with standard plugs, connected to our socket, would give a lower figure: 1.3 + 1.15 + 1.45 = 3.9 mOhms
But the same cord, equipped with a STEALTH plugs and connected to the STEALTH socket, would measure: 1.3 + 0.21 + 1.45 = 2.96 mOhms – twice as low as with standard plug and socket = approximately 6 dBs noise, hum and distortion reduction.
6 dBs is clearly audible J
Same cord, but with a STEALTH plug, inserted into the STEALTH socket, and equipped with a STEALTH IEC, 1.3 + 0.21 + 0.45 = 1.96 mOhms – i.e. 9 dBs noise, hum and distortion reduction, compare to standard plugs and IECs.
9 dBs is even more audible than 6 dBs.
For a 1.5 meters cord, STEALTH plug, socket and IEC would still give about 6 dBs in noise and hum reduction.
For those who have not studied math in depth, 6 dBs is twice as much.
The table below gives real life figures. Engineers and technicians who have access to precision miliohmsmeter are welcome to verify these figures.
WALL SOCKET (outlet) -> WALL PLUG Contact resistance performance
BRASS plug -> BRASS socket 3.28 milliOhms 100%
STEALTH SILVER plug ->BRASS socket 1.39 milliOhms 235%
BRASS plug -> STEALTH SILVER SOCKET - 1.15 milliOhms 285%
STEALTH SILVER plug -> STEALTH SILVERSOCKET - 0.21 milliOhms 1,561%
Cable mount IEC (female) -> chassis mount IEC (male)
BRASS IEC male ->BRASS IEC female 1.45 milliOhms 100%
STEALTH SILVER IEC male -> BRASS IEC female 0.45 milliOhms 322%
