LCD TV from Canada to Israel

We are coming back to Isael after 8 years and want to bring our LCD TV with us.
I read the threads regarding the compatability of the monitors from North America in Israel, but I couldn't get what is the right answer.
We have a 42 LG LCD TV model 42LB1DR. It has a build in DVR that I am almost positive will not work. We didn;t think to bring it over but I check the power spesification and it says AC100-240V and 50/60Hz which brings me to believe it will work in Israel. Do I need a PAL-> NTSC converter or not? Does anyone know if the DVR will work in Israel?

You will have to use PAL - NTSC Converter.
DVR Will not support EPG but I think it should record manually.

The only good use for it

here in israel will be as a very large PC monitor.
other than this, it will be very cumbersome to use.
U better live it there and buy locally.

The problem is that I won't get much for the TV if I try to sell it and I have space in the container.
This is why we consider bring it over
How much a converter from NTSC to PAL costs?

כמובן שאין לי מושג לגבי איכותו, לא הייתי מצפה יותר מדי ממוצרים בייתיים שכאלו. אני מעריך שבארץ מוצרים כאלו יכולים להגיע גם ל2000 ש"ח ויותר
שזה יותר משליש מחיר של מסך 42" ממוצע.

זה הכי טוב שתמצאי, גם ליאור יסכים איתי שהמרה בקומפוננט עדיף
אבל שוב, זה לא יחסוך ממך טירדות אחרות בקונפיגרציה בסלון.
